On August 28, RA Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan received a delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice, Grigor Minasyan highly appreciated the high-level cooperation between the two countries. The Minister emphasized the importance of developing alternative dispute resolution methods, especially in the direction of arbitration and reconciliation, as well as the importance of creating an arbitration and reconciliation center in the agenda of judicial reforms in Armenia. In this context, the parties discussed advanced Kazakh experience, including the creation of relevant legal institutions.
During the meeting, the importance of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the International Arbitration Center operating at the Astana International Financial Center and the IFC Court was noted. The Minister thanked the Kazakh side for its readiness to participate in the second annual Armenian International Arbitration Forum at a high level.
The parties also discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in the direction of digitalization of the judicial sphere, which is actively taking place in both countries, including the direction of creating joint platforms for public services and digital justice.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan emphasized the high level of existing relations between the two countries, cooperation in both legal, educational, cultural and other spheres. During the meeting, issues of organizing a meeting of the Ministers of Justice of Armenia and Kazakhstan and a number of other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
